Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 September 2026
This policy explains how Pika Health ("Pika Health", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through this website. Pika Health is an early-stage, UK-focused dental technology business currently in development. Our registered company details are: [TO CONFIRM — legal company name, e.g. "Pika Health Ltd"], company number [TO CONFIRM — Companies House registration number], registered office [TO CONFIRM — registered office address].
Who we are
Pika Health builds software that turns information recorded during a dental visit into a plain-English patient dashboard. This website is informational and is used to invite dental practices to request a demo, and to let patients join a waitlist ahead of a wider rollout.
Information we collect
We collect the information you choose to give us through the two forms on this website.
Demo request form (dental practices): first name, last name, work email address, practice name, your role, the number of locations your practice has, and any optional message you add.
Patient waitlist form: first name and email address only.
We do not ask for, and you should not submit, any dental or medical history, diagnoses, symptoms, treatment details or other health information through this website.
Website and technical data: this website does not currently use analytics or tracking cookies (see our Cookies page). Our hosting provider may automatically process basic technical data (such as IP address and request logs) as a normal part of running the website and keeping it secure.
Why we collect it, and our lawful basis
- Demo requests: to respond to your enquiry and discuss a pilot or demo with your practice. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries directed to us, and/or steps taken at your request prior to a possible contract.
- Patient waitlist: to let you know when Pika Health becomes available to you. Lawful basis: consent, given by submitting the form. You can withdraw this consent at any time (see "Your rights" below).
- Basic technical/hosting data: to operate and secure the website. Lawful basis: legitimate interests in keeping our website functional and secure.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not sell your information to third parties.
Marketing
Submitting a demo request or joining the waitlist does not sign you up to any other marketing communications. If we introduce an optional marketing newsletter in future, it will be a separate, unticked opt-in, not bundled into either form.
How long we keep information
Demo request data: [TO CONFIRM — how long practice demo request data is kept before deletion]. Waitlist data: [TO CONFIRM — how long patient waitlist data is kept before deletion]. When a retention period ends, or when you ask us to delete your information, we delete it rather than continuing to hold it.
Who we share information with
We use third-party service providers to run this website and store form submissions, currently: hosting — Vercel; database/form storage — [TO CONFIRM — database/form storage provider, e.g. Neon via Vercel Marketplace]; analytics — [TO CONFIRM — no analytics tool is in use at the time of writing]. Any other processors we use: [TO CONFIRM — any other third-party processors, e.g. email delivery]. We only share information with providers who need it to help us run the website, under appropriate confidentiality and data protection terms.
International transfers
[TO CONFIRM — whether any service provider stores or processes data outside the UK/EEA]
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the information you give us, including restricting who can access it and using providers that encrypt data in transit. No method of storing or transmitting information online can be guaranteed completely secure, so we cannot promise the information you submit will always be secure.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- ask us to restrict or object to how we use your information;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent (e.g. the waitlist); and
- complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you're unhappy with how we've handled your information.
To exercise any of these rights, or to withdraw consent, email us at hello@trypikahealth.com. We'll respond as promptly as we can.
You can contact the ICO at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
